Triathlon 1 day Seminar

Hi Everyone
Sorry for the late update. But all has been gong well.
Most recently I have just announced a triathlon seminar with my coach Alan Pitman on June 7. It is a full day of information including a swim session of stroke correction. Here is a link to the flyer. http://www.aptriathlon.com/tricamp_flyer_web.jpg It will be a great day in North Sydney with a beautiful indoor pool. Alan and I will be the presenters, and as it is in the middle of North Sydney there are many places to chose for lunch. Hope to see you there, it will be a great day.
Now about my last race. I had done very little training in the four weeks between Port Maquarie Ironman and Busselton Half Ironman, but I was feeling good about being fresh for the race. I was going for my fifth straight win, but after a few great results this year on less training than normal and less pressure on myself, I wasn’t putting presure on myself in Busselton.
I had the fastest swim, with Luke Mackenzie on my feet, and we had a good lead over everyone else. Once on the bike Luke let loose and dropped me straight away, and by the end of 90km he was 6mins in front! I felt ok on the bike, but i just hadn’t been training and had no strength. I hit the run thinking I had a slight chance to catch up to Luke if he fell apart, or was carrying an injury. However, after 7km I had made up no time! I started to run harder, and felt good, making up time each lap, but by the last lap I knew I wouldn’t catch Luke but I still wanted to post the fastest run so I kept running strong.
I finished 2nd by about 3 mins, had the fastest swim and run, and was very happy that I finished the run so strong after very little training. I have no doubt that my run tehnique has improved thanks to my Newton shoes, and my legs just aren’t tiring like they used to.
